Formulas contain a list of ingredients with their baker's percentages, plus a brief description (optional) and a few lines of instructions (also optional).
When you click on a category you are taken to a list of formulas in that category. If you have just added the category, or have not yet added any formulas, your screen will look like this:
To add a new formula, click the Edit button. If this is the first formula, you will see this screen:
If this is not the first formula, you will see something like this:
Click on the Add Formula text and you are brought to the screen of the new formula you are creating.
In the peach colored section, touch "Formula name" to enter the name of the formula, and touch "Description" to enter a brief description (optional). When you are ready to start adding ingredients, follow the instructions detailed on the Edit Formula page to see how to enter the details of the new formula. You can click Done at any time and come back later to further edit your formula.
To delete a formula, you must first locate the category that it is in.
When you select the category, you will get a list of the formulas in that category.
Press the Edit button which takes you into the edit screen:
Press the red circle next to the formula that you wish to delete. The line in the circle will become vertical and a Delete button will appear to the right of teh formula name. Press that button and the formula will be deleted. If you are done adding, deleting or rearranging formulas, you can click on the Done button.
Formulas are automatically listed in the order you entered them, but you can rearrange them into any order you like. In the formula list screen, first touch Edit.
This brings up a screen that allows you to add a new formula, delete an existing formula, or reorder the formulas. Put your finger on the three lines to the right of the name of the formula you wish to move.
Keeping your finger on it, drag it to the place in the list you want it to be.
When your list is ordered correctly, touch Done.
